Handcrafted in France by a female-led artisan atelier, Zaphir Chimes are renowned for their beautiful colours, exceptional craftsmanship and light, cascading harmonies.
Each chime contains eight individually tuned metal rods, carefully assembled and refined so that tones and overtones interact in a continuous flow of sound. The resonance tube is proportioned according to the principles of the Golden Ratio, contributing to the warm timbre, clarity and characteristic resonance of the instrument.

Professional Treatment Use
Zaphir Chimes are particularly beautiful towards the end of a facial or sound treatment.
Their light, cascading harmonies can be used to:

They can also provide a gentle auditory cue following a period of deep stillness, helping the client gradually reconnect with their surroundings rather than moving abruptly from relaxation back into conversation or activity.
How to Play
Hold the Zaphir Chime by the top suspension string and move it slowly in a gentle circular or flowing motion.
The internal striker moves naturally across the tuned rods, allowing the melody to unfold without needing to create a specific rhythm.
Play slowly and intentionally. A few gentle movements are often enough.
Allow the harmonics to resonate and fade before introducing the next sound or completing the treatment.
Craftsmanship
Each Zaphir Chime is handcrafted in France using eight metal rods of different lengths, individually tuned to refine the relationship between tones and overtones.
The resonance tube follows Golden Ratio proportions and is constructed from thin layers of long-fiber cellulose board, helping create Zaphir's characteristic warm timbre and crystalline sound.
Ecological varnishes and paints are used, with wooden components finished in wax. Most materials used in the construction are natural and recyclable.
Care
Handle gently and store in a clean, dry environment when not in use.
Remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, cleaning sprays and excessive moisture.
Although Zaphir Chimes have a protective ecological varnish, keeping them indoors and protected from strong wind, rain, high humidity, excessive heat and prolonged direct sunlight will help preserve their finish and sound quality.
Each instrument is individually handcrafted, so subtle variations in colour and finish are part of its unique character.
