Kenari Seed Pod Rattle Chime

A natural percussive instrument for grounding, transition and embodied presence within professional facial and sound treatments.

Handcrafted in Indonesia from naturally dried Canarium seed pods, the Kenari Seed Pod Rattle Chime produces a soft, organic, rain-like sound with an irregular rhythmic texture.

Unlike tuning forks, which deliver a precise frequency, or singing bowls, which create sustained harmonic tones, the Kenari offers a sound that feels closer to nature than note; earthy, textural and gently rhythmic.

Traditionally used in ceremonial and grounding practices, it brings movement into the soundscape and can be used to help gently redirect attention back towards the body.

Sound

Soft, organic and rain-like, with a naturally irregular percussive rhythm.

The sound can be subtle and delicate or fuller and more immersive depending on the size of the instrument and how it is played.

Ideal for subtle transitions, gentle rhythmic accents and closer work around the treatment bed.

Large | 24–26 Strands – Wooden Handle

A fuller, richer cascade of seed pod sound with greater movement and presence.

Ideal for moving slowly around the body, grounding towards the feet and creating a more immersive transition within the treatment.

Care

Kenari seed pods are a natural material and should be handled with care.

Keep the instrument dry and store in a protected area when not in use. Avoid moisture, excessive heat, prolonged direct sunlight and extreme changes in temperature.

Do not pull or place excessive pressure on individual strands.

As each instrument is handmade from naturally dried seed pods, variations in colour, shape, texture and sound are part of its unique organic character.
